Hello,
I started from a LG-D852 TELUS/KOODO model with lolipop installed and no updates done.
Installed kingroot to get root access, worked fine.
Installed autorec for D852 canada and rebooted to get in TWRP recovery menu.
Once in the menu, I tried installing cyanogen mod following an online tutorial but it failed.
Status, TWRP continually says
"failed to mount /system"
"failed to mount /data"
"failed to mount /whatever..."
Tried restoring using the "lg flash tool 2014" method with the right kdz file but it fails at 4% saying
"Upgrade stopped due to an error."
Is there a way to use ADB to repair TWRP so it accepts roms ? I'm only trying to use this flash recovery method because TWRP doesn't work.
Did anyone here ever get a similar issue ? Been searching everywhere about the TWRP "failed to mount" issue and all I've found is this video which, of course, also didn't work
youtube /watch?v=VJRKuQf0puE (removed url as I'm new and cannot post it)
I am open to trying any plausible solution to get my phone back in an usable state, please bring me a fix !!!
(no need to remind me I'm dumb I already know)
