No LTE while on phone calls - Rogers Wireless

I have been noticing that I do not have LTE while on phone calls. I have seen a few threads addressing this but it's all for Verizon. I am on Rogers in Canada. I am wondering if something is not functioning properly or if this is working as intended.

Some additional details:

I am running DP3, rooted, with TWRP.
