yesterday I set off on a journey to root my phone . I Followed a couple guides and every site stated that you need Twrp. The thing is im running marshmallow on the D850 and any time I try to boot my phone in recovery I get "boot verification failed" and get a black screen with the notification flashing and this even prevents me from even doing a factory reset. From lurking the forums i've learned that the best way to fix is to flash back to an older version of android but most of these guides seen old and out dated and I cant seem to find a kdz for the D850 . Thank you and your help will be very much appreciated.
also the i installed the LG drivers (to use the LG flash tool )but they are not shown in device manager mostly because the phone should be on so the drivers will be shown...
