clean up system data

Hi ,

Almost al space on my son's LG L Fino is in use.
So we've deleted all mail, photo's, videos, and all app's that he installed (exempt for whats-app).
Still almost all space is in use.
When i go to setting -> storage is see the following values:
Total space : 4 GB
Available : 140 MB
Apps : 785 MB
Pictures, videos: 60.00 KB
Audio... : 220 KB
Downloads : 8.00 KB
Cached data : 1.44 MB
Misc : 3.09 GB

When i tap Misc:
System data : 3.09 GB
LG Backup: 8.00 KB
WhatsApp : 664KB

It seems that the System data is taking 75% of the total space of this mobile phone.
Which to seems pretty much.
I can't find any clue how to clean this system data.

Can anybody please help? Because this way the phone is almost useless....
